Garnier was struggling to make its Fructis line of hair care products truly impactful and reach its intended audience. Hidden behind submenus on a "web 1.0" styled site, Fructis lacked the fun and playful appeal that a younger audience looks for.

The strategy here centered around animated gifs because of their specific appeal to younger audiences. Each tiled gif featured a specific Fructis product or promo and when clicked expanded to showcase related content or product info. This approach of combining bright, playful colors and emphasizing visuals spoke better to the target audience of Fructis.

In an attempt to create an even closer brand relationship, content included advice from expert stylists, lifestyle tips, promos and new product releases, all tailored to be shareable through social media.
